- August 15 is the deadline for the next round of proposals for the Alex Wilson Legacy Fund – the fund that continues and expands the lifework of Alex “Tink” Wilson, a longtime leader in folk dancing, folk song and story in Boulder. The fund fosters folklore projects around Boulder and the Front Range of Colorado.
- The Dance Archive and Colorado Dance Education Organization (CoDEO) will meet together on Saturday, August 3 from 2 - 4 p.m. at the Anderson Academic Commons on the DU campus. The event is open to anyone interested in dance education. Please RSVP.
- The Town of Erie, Colorado is seeking an artist or artist teams working in all sculpture mediums to conceptualize, fabricate, and install a series of sculptures along a 15 minute, mixed-modality, pedestrian loop through urban and recreational settings. The selected artist(s) and community stakeholders will determine artwork placement along the “loop." Apply by July 29, 2024.
- Be part of CBCA Leadership Arts! For over 25 years, CBCA has built a pipeline of leaders in the arts through Leadership Arts. This unique nine-month program prepares people to serve on nonprofit boards of directors and increase their civic engagement in the arts. The Leadership Arts curriculum focuses on building the necessary skills to be an effective volunteer leader and exploring relevant topics in Colorado’s arts sector. Applications for Leadership Arts 2024 - 2025 are now open. All application materials must be received by Friday, August 9.
