Only residents of Columbine Mobile Home Park can apply. We will use what we learn from Columbine to create a program to repair more mobile homes in Boulder County in the future.
Free mobile home repairs for Columbine residents
Boulder County will pay a contractor up to $12,000 to fix your mobile home. Construction contractors can fix roofs, skirting, and more.
Who can apply?
Onsite Visit and Tabling Events
We will visit Columbine on Wednesday, February 21 and Friday 23 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, we will knock on doors and have information flyers and you can ask us questions. On Friday evening, we will have a table near the Columbine entrance. Please stop by, apply for a grant and ask questions.
About the Grant
Grants are money that you do not have to pay back. You do not need to be a U.S. citizen to qualify, and the grant will not impact Public Charge. The contractor is paid the grant money to buy materials and to work on your home.
About the Process
- You apply for a grant.
- You call the contractor and schedule a time for a repair estimate. (You must work with the contractor who has been approved by the program.)
- The contractor will visit your home to see your repair needs.
- Program staff will send you a Grant Agreement.
- You sign and return the Grant Agreement.
- You sign a Construction Contract with the contractor. This is an agreement that the contractor can repair your home.
- The contractor completes the work within 90 days. After the work is complete, the city pays the contractor.
How to Apply
Access Spanish application and English application.
- You do not need additional paperwork to apply.
- You will need just 10 minutes or less to apply.
- For the first question on the application, please check “Programa de reparaciones de casas móviles en Columbine Mobile Home Park”.
- If you do not own the mobile home, we can still repair it, but we need the owner of the mobile home to sign the agreements.
