Elaine Lipson is a painter and textile artist who is primarily interested in color and the natural world. She earned a BA in fine arts (painting, printmaking, and art history) from Colorado College, and completed a certificate in Museum Studies from Northwestern's professional studies division. Elaine was born in Canada, grew up in several states, and has lived and worked in Chicago, New York City, San Francisco, Denver, and other cities; she currently lives in Colorado.
