- Verifies that stormwater control measures (SCMs) for long-term stormwater management are constructed to approved standards.
Applicability:
- Erosion Control Permit: Required for construction projects that disturb one acre or more of land, are part of a larger common plan of development exceeding one acre or are reasonably expected to exceed one acre based on city review.
- Grading Permit: Required for projects with greater than 50 cubic yards of cut/fill.

The following documentation needs to be included with the permit application:
- Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP), including narrative and erosion control plan following checklist requirements (always required)
- State of Colorado Construction Stormwater General Permit, COR400000, certification (always required)
- Stormwater and drainage construction drawings, including SCM details (if applicable)
- Final drainage report (if applicable)
- State of Colorado, Short-Term Construction Dewatering Permit, COG800000, or Short-Term Remediation Permit, COG317000, certification (if applicable and construction activities have pumped discharges to the storm sewer or waterbodies)
- Approved City of Boulder Stream, Wetland, and Water Body Permit report (if applicable)
Failure to submit all required documentation may result in processing delays or permit denial.
