The BOZA typically meets on the second Thursday of each month at 5 p.m. The board will meet either in the City Council Chambers, 1777 Broadway or hold the meeting Virtually. The dates, times and locations are subject to change.

Starting in July 2022 the BOZA will meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 4pm. Until then, they will meet on the second Thursday of each month at 5pm. The board will meet either in the City Council Chambers, 1777 Broadway, or hold the meeting virtually.     Setback Variance: As part of a proposal to enclose an existing 80 sq ft raised patio area at the southeast corner of the nonconforming home and turn it into conditioned space, the applicants are requesting a variance to the front (south) yard setback in order to meet the minimum setback requirements for principal structures in the RL-1 zoning district. The resulting front (south) setback will be approximately 14.8 feet (taken from the subject infill addition) where 25 feet is required and where approximately 14.8 feet (taken from the existing front wall of the home) exists today.     Setback Variances: As part of a proposal to construct a rear single-story addition at the back of the existing historic and nonconforming home, the applicant is requesting a variance to the north interior side yard setback as well as to both the north & south combined side yard setbacks in order to meet the minimum and combined setback requirements for principal structures in the RL-1 zoning district. To meet the minimum setback requirements; The resulting interior side (north) setback will be approximately 3.4 feet (taken from the subject rear addition) where 5 feet is required and where approximately 3.1 feet (taken from the existing front corner of the home) exists today.     Setback Variances: As part of a proposal to construct/reconstruct some walls and roofs as a part of a home renovation and to turn an existing attached garage into living space, the applicant is requesting a variance to the front (north), interior side (east) & combined side (east & west) yard setbacks in order to meet the minimum and combined setback requirements for principal structures in the RL-1 zoning district. The resulting front (north) setback will be approximately 7 feet where 25 feet is required and where approximately 7 feet exists today. The resulting interior side (east) setback will be approximately 3 feet where 5 feet is required and where approximately 3 feet exists today. And in order to meet the combined side yard setback requirements; The resulting interior side (east) setback will be approximately 3 feet where 10 feet is required and approximately 3 feet exists today, and the resulting interior side (west) setback will be approximately 5 feet where 12 feet is required and approximately 5 feet exists today.
