Each year, the city provides grants to local organizations to recognize Immigrant Heritage Month through events and celebrations that honor the immigrants who have shaped the city for generations. The grants support events that facilitate the successful engagement of immigrants into the civic, economic and cultural life of the Boulder community.

This event, presented by Hypothetical Theater, is based on the oral history project at the Statue of Liberty National Monument/Ellis Island National Immigration Museum. The 40-minute show will be followed by a curated panel discussion about “Immigration: Now and Then.”

The Boulder cast includes local actors: Sally Knudsen, Art Razo, Raouf Zaidan, and Carrie Hamilton. Ms. Hamilton performed the show at Ellis Island in the original cast and now lives in the area.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
