Teen Voices: A Storytelling Workshop 09/23/2024 18:30 09/23/2024 16:30 America/Denver MM/DD/YYYY CONFIRMED OPAQUE

Has your experience growing up in Boulder shaped who you are? Are you ready to understand your story, express yourself with confidence and have more fun being you?

City of Boulder Neighborhood Services invites you to join professional storyteller and speaking coach Johanna Walker for a 6-week teen-focused workshop, Teen Voices: A Storytelling Workshop.

This class is a place where teens can:

  • take up space and be goofy, or be quiet,
  • try stuff and make mistakes; and,
  • practice being confident, and letting it show without apology.

You’ll be invited to workshop one or more stories and get feedback from Johanna. This workshop will include an opportunity to share your story at a showcase with your friends and family - and sharing is optional!

The world needs more people like YOU taking up space, telling stories, making brave mistakes and being awesome.
