Koco Collab is the coalescence of artists Aiko Szymczak and Corinne Trujillo. In our practice, we depict ethnically diverse subjects with cross-cultural imagery and themes of nature. By juxtaposing stoic grayscale figures with vibrant backgrounds, we explore the relationship between the inner workings of the mind and the external world. We aim to create safe, public spaces in which the viewer can reflect and feel seen.
