"I'm originally from IL, and when I was a sophomore in high school, my art teacher signed me up for a contest to be a participant at Marie Walsh Sharpe's summer conference to be held in Colorado Springs in the summer of '93. Fortunately I was picked and I ventured to Colorado for 2 weeks. I fell in love with CO while I was here and when I came back to IL for the remainder of my H.S. career I told my friends I was going to pack my bags and move to CO after high school. I have been here ever since creating art, although I've had many businesses in-between, in '09 I started a custom mural and art business called Artistic Gold Creative Concepts."
