Through a thorough and swift investigation police officers were able to arrest the suspect David Lloyd Martine.
BOULDER, Colo. – At 2:33 p.m. on June 5, 2025 Boulder Police officers were dispatched to the US Bank at 1650 28th Street for the report of a robbery that just occurred. Officers were dispatched to the scene as well as to begin locating the suspect.
Through a thorough and swift investigation police officers were able to arrest the suspect in the Broadway and University area.
Just prior to the bank robbery, the suspect assaulted and attempted to rob a woman of her bike at the Home Depot on 28th Street. The woman was treated and released on scene.
The suspect, David Lloyd Martinez, 46 years old, has been arrested on charges for:
- Attempted Robbery CRS 18-2-101 (4), Class 5 felony
- Robbery CRS 18-4-301, Class 4 felony
Police continue to investigate this incident and additional charges may be filed. Anyone with information regarding this Robbery is asked to call Boulder Police Detectives at 303-4471-1974. This incident is being investigated under Boulder Police report number 25-05147.
As in every criminal case, these charges are an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty.
