Community members reminded to follow public health orders while celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

All city administration facilities will be closed Monday, Jan. 17. Most city facilities and services that are currently operating in a limited capacity due to COVID-19 will also be closed on Martin Luther King Jr Day, with the following exceptions:

Open on Monday, Jan. 17:

  • Recreation Centers will be open to community members. For more information about available amenities and current protocols, visit Recreation Centers.
  • Boulder Reservoir will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Exit gates close at 4 p.m. For information, visit Boulder Reservoir.
  • Flatirons Golf Course is currently closed due to dry terrain conditions. For more information, visit Flatirons Golf.

Parking is free in city garages, parking lots and at on-street pay stations on Monday, Jan. 17 for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday.

When recreating outside, please remember we all play a part in keeping our parks and trails safe places to visit during the public health crisis.
