City of Boulder schedule for Veterans Day, Nov. 11

Community members reminded to follow public health orders while celebrating Veterans Day

All city administration facilities will be closed Thursday, Nov. 11.

Most city facilities and services that are currently operating in a limited capacity due to COVID-19 will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 11 for Veterans Day, with the following exceptions:

Open on Thursday, Nov. 11:

  • The East Boulder Community Center, North Boulder Recreation Center, and South Boulder Recreation Center will all be open regular hours. Check the city’s website for details about pool hours and recreation programming.
  • Boulder Reservoir will open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the exit gate closing at 4 p.m. Recreation opportunities are limited to passive recreation (walking, running, and biking).
  • Flatirons Golf Course will be open regular hours. Check open tee times on the city’s website.
  • Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) trails and trailheads. Visit the city’s trails and trailheads webpage or OSMPTrails.org to plan your visit to city open space.

Parking is free in city garages, parking lots, and at on-street meters on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021 for the Veterans Day holiday.

While celebrating this holiday, it is important for community members and visitors to continue to follow public health measures intended to limit the spread of COVID-19.
