The maintenance is to make sure markings are visible for all road users.

The City of Boulder will start restriping crosswalks, stop bars and symbols throughout the city beginning Monday, May 9, through the end of the month. The work will take place between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and will require periodic right- and left-lane closures at the re-striping locations.

Starting in June, striping work will take place overnight through September. Striping takes place annually to ensure that street markings are clearly visible to motorists, bicyclists and everyone using the street to support transportation safety.
