Person of Interest Sought in City Recreation Center Burglaries

In observance of the winter holidays, the City of Boulder is adjusting its operations schedules.
BOULDER, Colo. – Boulder Police detectives are trying to identify a person of interest in connection to multiple locker room burglaries at city recreation centers.
On Oct. 22, officers responded to the East Boulder Community Center at 5660 Sioux Drive and took a report of an unknown person who had broken into five locked lockers inside the men’s locker room around 8:30 a.m.
On Nov. 2, officers responded to the North Boulder Recreation Center at 3170 Broadway and took a report of an unknown person who had broken into four locked lockers in the men’s locker room around 9 a.m.
Detectives would like to speak to the individual seen here because they believe he might have information about these crimes. Anyone with any information about his identity or these crimes is asked to contact Detective Xu at XuZ@bouldercolorado.gov or 303-441-3241 reference case 23-11117.
When visiting rec centers, community members are encouraged to leave their valuables at home or locked up in secure places out of sight.
