Boulder Police are still investigating and ask anyone with information to reach out.

Boulder Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred early this morning at the intersection of Foothills Parkway and Baseline Road.

At approximately 1:45 a.m., a man driving a box truck northbound on Foothills Parkway struck a traffic pole at the southeast corner of the intersection. Tragically, the driver died at the scene.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash. Boulder Police and Boulder Fire-Rescue remained on scene throughout the morning as investigators worked to determine the circumstances of the crash and crews cleared the roadway.

Boulder Police are still investigating and anyone who witnessed the crash or has information about the events leading up to it is asked to contact Traffic Officer Dave Kaufman at KaufmanD@bouldercolorado.gov.
