Stabbing Suspect Arrested

In observance of the winter holidays, the City of Boulder is adjusting its operations schedules.
BOULDER, Colo. – Boulder Police officers made a swift arrest this morning in a stabbing that occurred downtown.
At 8:59 a.m. today, Boulder Police were called to the area of Broadway and Arapahoe after individuals saw an adult male using a knife and a pipe to attack another adult male under the bridge.
Within 5 minutes officers spotted the suspect riding a bike nearby, pursued him and safely took him into custody just off the Boulder Creek path on 17th Street. He was uninjured.
The suspect has been identified as Joshua Allen Gregor, 38, of no fixed address. He was charged with two counts of first-degree assault.
The victim suffered serious injuries and is in critical condition at the hospital.
Detectives do not believe the men knew each other.
