Recent Opportunities

  • Advancing Creatives is CBCA’s artist professional development and business skills education programming. The ACI 2026: Denver Metro program is a six-session program from April – June 2026 hosted at the Colorado Photographic Arts Center. Applications for ACI 2026: Denver Metro are open now! All applications materials are due by Friday, March 13.
  • Pearl Street Arts Fest is a celebration of visual art on display in our beautiful outdoor gallery nestled in the heart of downtown Boulder. Occurring in the height of the tourist season, the Pearl Street Arts Fest typically draws more than 70,000 attendees over the course of the weekend. Artist applications are due Feb. 20, 2026.   • Sans Souci Festival of Dance Cinema is accepting dance film submissions for its 2026 festival. The last date to submit a film is May 17, 2026. See all submission categories and submit a project.
  • Street Wise Arts is accepting applications for two mural projects at Tantra Lake Apartments, a Boulder Housing Partners community. Together, the murals will connect housing, food justice and ecology into a living story of transformation. Colorado-based mural artists are invited to apply by March 1.
  • The DAG Foundation has several $20,000 Prize Applications open for literature, music and visual art. The deadline for all three prizes is March 18, 2026. Learn more and eligibility criteria and submit an application.
  • The Boulder Public Library District Makerspaces are hiring for a full-time Creative Technologist. Applications close Feb. 25. Learn more and apply.
  • 2026 submissions are open for the Colorado Queer Comedy Festival. Submissions close June 30, 2026. Learn more and submit an application.
  • The Voices of the Wilderness artist residency program is open for applications. Artists of all mediums are welcome to apply. Applications should be submitted to grace.corrigan@usda.gov by 11:59 p.m. Alaska time March 2, 2026.
