- The heARTS of LYONS Outdoor Arts Collection is a perennial celebration of art and sculpture displayed outdoors throughout the picturesque mountain town of Lyons, Colorado. The heARTS of LYONS rotating collection offers a compelling parade of art that escorts travelers through the town and entices return visits. The town is pleased to offer a $1000 honorarium for the loan of artists' work ($500 upon install and $500 upon de-install). Artists must be willing to agree to a two-year placement and sign a formal Artist/Lender Agreement. Entries are due Jan. 25, 2026.
- The America 250 - Colorado 150 Commission is excited to showcase 2026 commemorative programs and events. To be included, the event descriptions must specifically state how the event relates to the commemoration. - The America 250 - Colorado 150 Commission’s Community Grants Program is an initiative designed to support localized, high-impact projects as Colorado commemorates its 150th anniversary of statehood alongside the nation’s 250th anniversary in 2026. The final deadline to submit projects to be considered for funding via the Community Grants and Aligned Giving programs is Feb. 15, 2026, at 5 p.m. Learn more and apply.
- A private family foundation in the Denver area is seeking an experienced project manager to lead the planning and execution of a collaborative art project. The Colorado 150 Tapestry project is a work of textile art to be commissioned by a private family foundation in celebration of the 150th anniversary of Colorado statehood. Working with a local artist, the tapestry intends to tell Colorado’s collective story in ways that connect Coloradans with our shared history. - Rembrandt Yard is accepting submissions for its Spring/Summer Exhibition - Liminal Light. All mediums are welcome and applications are open through Feb. 9.
- The Boulder Chamber, in collaboration with Boulder County Arts Alliance, seeks to commission a professional local artist, illustrator or designer to create an original image that it can license for the 2026 Boulder Star Holiday Card, and possibly other items, such as a puzzle produced by Liberty Puzzles and a wine. The selected artist will receive $1,000 under a license agreement to produce an image reflecting Boulder, with fresh takes on its iconic imagery encouraged. Applications close Jan. 30. Learn more!
