Recent Opportunities

  • The Sundance Institute’s labs, granting, and mentorship programs operate year-round to support independent artists and bring exciting new work into the world. Several of their programs are now accepting submissions. If you’re looking for more opportunities to fine-tune your craft, visit Sundance Collab — their year-round digital space for global artists to learn, create, build a community, and champion independence in filmmaking.
  • An artist studio at the House of Serein is now available. House of Serein is an arts community and studio space where artists, writers, poets, and other passionate creators can exchange ideas and build connections. Learn more about this opportunity.
  • Denver Public Art seeks to commission an artist or artist team to create public artworks for La Raza Park. The artwork is envisioned as a welcoming community anchor and “third space”—a place that inspires connection, invites people to gather and linger, and sparks conversation about the park, its cultural heritage, and the community’s future. The commission amount for an artist or artist team is $136,000. Learn more and apply by Oct. 15.
  • The Dairy Arts Center Co-Production Program is an ongoing opportunity to partner with the Dairy to present artistic work that enriches and expands our creative community. Rather than operating within a single annual program cycle, Co-Production is designed to give the Dairy and prospective partners greater flexibility to identify opportunities throughout the year.   • NoBo Art District is seeking proposals for 2027 exhibitions at The Bus Stop Gallery. Proposals are encouraged to be experimental and exploratory while considering commercial viability. Proposals are being accepted thereafter on a rolling basis through Oct. 30, 2026. Learn more and submit a proposal.
  • The Sundance Film Festival arrives in Boulder January 2027. The Boulder Chamber has compiled resources and opportunities for local organizations and individuals to participate on its Sundance Film Festival Partner Hub. Opportunities that may be of interest to Boulder's nonprofit community include: Ticket Donations, Nonprofit Engagement/Liquor License Permitting, Vendor Interest Form, Official Friend of the Sundance Film Festival, Boulder County Film Commission, and Volunteer Opportunities.
