Mi Chantli aims to celebrate the country's second Independence Day, marking the end of slavery in Texas at the end of the Civil War by activating their space with Black music, history and culture. This event will celebrate Black joy and resiliency through various workshops including a drum ensemble, storytelling and poetry.
