Wonderland Lake Park is a scenic neighborhood park located at Poplar Avenue (west of Broadway) nestled in North Boulder with plenty of open space, water access and trails for unstructured family fun and a playground.
Nature Play Opportunities
With both access to Wonderland Lake and OSMP trails, children have vast opportunities for nature play at Wonderland Lake Park. Through fishing, observing wildlife, and exploring nature off trail, children are truly able to explore and reap the benefits of nature play.
Algae Bloom Notice
If you see algae in lakes and ponds, take extra precautions to avoid contact with the water. Some algae blooms can be harmful to people and pets. Algal blooms can contain cyanobacteria –often referred to as blue-green algae. While the vast majority of algae often seen in ponds and lakes during summer months are not toxic, cyanobacteria can produce toxins, which can be harmful to dogs and humans at elevated levels.
