The Boulder Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Friday afternoon between a vehicle and pedestrian.
The Boulder Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Friday afternoon between a vehicle and pedestrian.
At approximately 12:20 p.m. on Sept. 17, a 17-year-old male driver stopped at a red light at the intersection of 26th Street and Pearl Street then turned right. The vehicle — a Jeep Wrangler — struck an 83-year-old female who was crossing the street. The female was taken to the hospital where she later died of her injuries. The Boulder County Coroner’s Office will identify the victim and notify the next of kin.
The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with officers.
