Volunteers are key to JLF Colorado’s return to an in-person format

The Boulder Public Library invites volunteers to support the in-person return of the Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF) to the Main Boulder Public Library at 1001 Arapahoe Ave from Sept. 17 – 18.

JLF Colorado will celebrate diversity, dialogue, and great literature once again under one roof in Boulder. Sign to volunteer by Sept. 11 and help bring the festival to life with changemakers from around the world. Volunteer opportunities include festival greeters, registration helpers, author liaisons, venue ushers, social media and photography volunteers, and production volunteers among other roles.

“We’re excited to return to an in-person format,” shared Jessie Friedman, JLF Colorado Executive Director. “With a small budget, the festival’s success at bringing the community together relies on the support of city and corporate partners, individual donors, and volunteers.” Volunteers can enjoy community conversations about critical local and global topics with speakers including:

  • André Aciman, New York Times Bestselling Author of “Call Me by Your Name”

  • Ahja Fox, newly appointed Poet Laureate of Aurora, Colorado

  • Gopalkrishna Gandhi, Indian politician and grandson of Mahatma Gandhi

Register for tickets at JLF Colorado.

JLF Colorado is presented by the nonprofit organization JLF Colorado and Teamwork Arts in association with the Boulder Public Library, the City of Boulder, the Boulder Arts Commission, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Commission on Human Relations.
