Job seekers can meet a variety of employers with current vacancies.
The city’s Older Adult Services division is hosting a 55+ job fair on Thursday, April 25 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the East Age Well Center, 5600 Sioux Dr., Boulder.
At this event, job seekers can meet a variety of employers with current job vacancies, get a free resume review and attend an educational workshop for job seekers aged 55 and older. Registration is encouraged by not required for the job fair.
- Resume Reviews - 10-minute reviews and support around developing, updating, and tailoring your resume. If you have a current resume, please bring a hard copy. Resume reviews are first come, first served and sign up for reviews will open at 12:30 p.m.
- Strategies for Job Seekers 50+ Workshop, 1 – 2 p.m. - Explore myths and truths about older workers, the range of programs and training available through federally funded workforce centers, strategies for showcasing your strengths, and how to put together a compelling resume. Registration is required.
Older Adult Services staff will be onsite to help with navigation and Spanish translation. Local nonprofits and other human services agencies will also be onsite to provide information on additional community support services and resources for older adults.
