City to host information session to discuss Human Relations Commission openings

The City of Boulder’s Housing and Human Services Department is hosting a virtual information session for community members interested in applying to serve on the Human Relations Commission (HRC).

The HRC’s purpose is to foster mutual respect and understanding and to create an atmosphere conducive to amicable relations among all members of the Boulder community. This commission distributes Human Relations Fund grants and serves as a quasi-judicial hearing board for Human Rights Ordinance cases.

The virtual information session will be held on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, and will be available in both English and Spanish.

  • Join at 6 p.m. for Spanish

City staff will discuss what applicants can expect as a member of the HRC and attendees will be invited to ask questions. To submit question before the meeting, please email castro-camposi@bouldercolorado.gov by 5 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 9.
