The City of Boulder has launched a beta to preview its new website. The beta features a handful of key webpages so community members can experience some of the planned changes and share more input to help ensure the new site best serves the public. The full site will launch in 2021.
The beta, beta.bouldercolorado.gov, is accessible from a prominent banner on the city’s current website. The new website is shaped by user input, research and testing. The website is designed to be:
“The website is one of our most important tools for delivering information and services to our community, and this public health crisis has only accelerated our efforts to embrace new ways to serve the public online. The new website is designed to be faster and easier for the public to use, making doing business with the city more efficient.”
- Former City Manager, Jane BrautigamCommunity members are encouraged to provide feedback on the beta on the city’s online engagement platform, Be Heard Boulder, and/or feedback forms on the beta website itself. Feedback from the public will help shape the development of the website, including ongoing improvements.
The city’s current website was launched in 2013. The city website receives approximately 1.5 million visitors and 7 million pageviews a year on average.
