What’s Up Boulder engagement event returns on Sept. 7 at Scott Carpenter Park
Our annual citywide engagement event called “What’s Up Boulder,” is back! “What’s Up Boulder” will take place on Sunday, Sept. 7 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Scott Carpenter Park.
This citywide engagement open house will be an opportunity to create trust, an openness for further community engagement, connection and a sense of belonging through shared experiences. The event will help city staff engage in dialogue with the community to better understand their needs through a “One Boulder” approach.
We’ll have free dessert, family-friendly activities and opportunities for community members to chat with you one-on-one.
We expect up to 400 community members in attendance throughout the afternoon. Multi-lingual city staff and interpretation services will be present during the event to help with interpretation needs.
All City Council members are invited to join us. We note that it is an election year and ask that those running for election do not to engage in campaigning or re-election activity at this event.
