Here’s some need-to-know information for the week:

Non-profit organizations can apply for capital project funding beginning today through June 12 at 5 p.m.

The city anticipates awarding $2 to $3 million through a competitive process for projects aligned with Ballot Measure 2A, passed by voters in November 2025, which extends the Community, Culture, Resilience and Safety Tax in perpetuity.

Funding is intended to support non-profit organizations in completing needed capital projects to ensure a long-term physical presence serving community members.
