Join staff from the City of Boulder’s Police Department, Boulder County Community Protection Division, and Housing and Human Services’ Crisis Intervention Response Team (CIRT) for Coffee with a Cop. Coffee with a Cop is an opportunity to break down the barriers between police officers and the community members they serve by creating space to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know the officers in your community. Community members are invited to drop by the West Age Well Center located at 909 Arapahoe Ave. to participate in this program.

Chat with Council

Older adults are invited to join a few members of the Boulder City Council for lunch at the West Age Well Center. This engagement is part of the “Chats with Council” program, which supports informal dialogue between community members and elected officials. Participants can drop in at any time to share their thoughts with City Council Members. Space is limited and registration is capped at 25 so please register early. Participants who have registered for the event need to check in at the front desk to receive a meal voucher for a free lunch provided by Meals on Wheels’ Eat Well Café.

Parking at the West Age Well Center is reserved for adults 60 plus who are participating in Center activities. Additional parking is available at the Main Library. The first 90 minutes of library parking are free. Additional time may be purchased for $1.25/hour. Payment is accepted by credit cards, coins, or through the ParkMobile app. Registration is not required but strongly encouraged. For more information or to register call 303-441-3148.

In celebration of Older Americans Month, join Older Adult Services and enjoy a light lunch, time to visit old friends and make new ones, and live music by Boulder local and classical pianist, Randi Stroh. Lunch starts at 1 p.m. with live music between 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. This event is sponsored through generous community donations.
