We are excited to announce the release of OSMP's Visitation Data Explorer, which provides a dynamic interface for exploring current data from our fleet of long-term trail counters.

Currently, trail counters are installed at 11 of our trailheads and provide daily updates on visits to these locations. This initial release of Version 1.0 provides some quick summary statistics, including average daily visits by location for the last 4 weeks, hourly visits for the last 7 days, and daily totals for all days since February 1, 2020. Forthcoming features will include a page with more detailed site-specific analytics as well as options to compare visitation to previous/historic measurements. If you are interested in data downloads, please contact Brian Anacker (anackerb@bouldercolorado.gov).

If this is your first time using the Visitation Data Explorer, please click the "Guide" icon (blue ? mark) at the upper right of the main screen for some key background information as well as pointers on navigating the data explorer. The methods used to collect trail count data for our permanent fleet is very similar to the methodology used for our 2016-2017 Visitation Estimate. You can view the 2016-2017 Report as well as a dynamic data explorer for that report.
