Arts in the Park

The City of Boulder presents Arts in the Park, a program showcasing a vibrant blend of arts and cultural performances. Arts in the Park Signature Performances take place at the Glen Huntington Bandshell in the city’s Civic Area and showcase talent from the Boulder Ballet, Boulder Symphony, Boulder Phil, and Boulder Opera. Arts in the Park Community Spotlight Performances are a way for the city to provide a viable outdoor venue for local artists and arts professionals, provide art performances and experiences to the community, and create a welcoming and safe space for all.

Concerts in the parks

We partner with the Boulder Concert Band (BCB) to provide music in the parks. The BCB is composed of volunteer musicians from Boulder and surrounding communities. The BCB provides our community with outstanding performances of traditional and modern concert literature and enriches the cultural experience of the audience and the musicians.

Join us for the City of Boulder’s Annual Halloween Drive-In Movie Event, where thrills and chills await the whole family! This fun, spooky event offers a safe and exciting way for all ages to enjoy a classic Halloween movie from the comfort of your car at the Boulder Reservoir. Make lasting memories with loved ones, enjoy a family-friendly outing, and experience the festive spirit of Boulder’s community.

November through mid-January

Snow Much Fun

From November through mid-January, the holiday season comes to life in Boulder’s historic Central Park and Civic Area, where twinkling lights and festive displays create a magical atmosphere. Lights will shine brightly from 13th Street all the way to the library, inviting families to enjoy a cozy, unforgettable adventure. Bundle up and stroll through this dazzling holiday wonderland, creating lasting memories and spreading joy along the way.
