Chelsea began her journey with EXPAND in 2008 by working part-time as she attended the University of Colorado. She loved it so much she obtained her CTRS and jumped on board as a program coordinator in 2015. Since then, Chelsea has had the joy of leading a wide variety of programs, gaining experience in nearly every type of EXPAND offering. Outdoor adventure programming, especially skiing, remains her favorite. She thinks there is just something so special about sharing her favorite parts of Colorado with her EXPAND family.
Chelsea believes she has the best job in the world, and the most rewarding part is building meaningful connections with participants, families, and staff. Everyone deserves access to recreation and a community, and Chelsea loves that she gets to work for a place that helps to make that happen.
Outside of work, Chelsea loves skiing, climbing, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.
