The City of Boulder Housing and Human Services Department is hosting a virtual information session for community members interested in serving on the Human Services Fund Advisory Committee (HSFAC) or the Health Equity Advisory Committee (HEAC).

The HSFAC’s purpose is to review funding applications to the Human Services Fund and make recommendations to staff and the city manager for nonprofit community program grants that reflect human service needs and priorities. Similarly, members of the HEAC review Health Equity Fund proposals and make recommendations for program grants, in alignment with legislative intent for the city’s Sugar-sweetened Beverage Product Distribution Tax and the Health Equity Fund strategic framework.

The virtual information session will be held on Thursday, April 14 at 5:30 p.m., in English with Spanish language interpretation. City staff will discuss and answer questions about committee roles and tasks, and the application process.
