Boulder Police Investigating Fatal Traffic Crash
The Boulder Police Department is investigating a single car crash Monday that later resulted in a fatality.
At approximately 10:38 p.m., a Honda Accord traveling north on 30th Street struck a retaining wall on the north side of the intersection of 30th Street and the Diagonal Highway. The driver, a 24-year-old Denver woman, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. She succumbed to her injuries last night.
No other vehicles were involved, and officers believe that speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
If anyone witnessed anything leading up to this crash, they’re asked to contact Traffic Officer David Kaufman at KaufmanD@bouldercolorado.gov or 303-441-3394 reference case 24-01126.
