City of Boulder closures for Thanksgiving, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24
The following City of Boulder facilities and services will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23, Thanksgiving Day:
- All city administrative offices
- All city recreation facilities
- All Boulder Public Library locations
- All Age Well Centers
The following facilities and services will be closed to the public on Friday, Nov. 24:
- All Age Well Centers
- Planning and Development Services
- Public Works
- Transportation and Mobility
- Utilities
- Community Vitality
- Climate Initiatives facilities will be closed to the public, but services will be available via phone and email.
The following facilities will be open on Friday, Nov. 24.
- East Boulder Community Center – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- North Boulder Recreation Center – 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- South Boulder Recreation Center – 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Flatirons Golf Course – open regular hours
- Boulder Reservoir – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the outgoing gate closing at 4 p.m.
On Thursday, Nov. 23, Thanksgiving Day, parking is free on city streets and in all city-owned lots and downtown parking garages. HOP bus service frequencies will be impacted from Nov. 20-24.
Open Space and Mountain Parks trails and trailheads will be open on Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24. Visit OSMPTrails.org to plan your visit to city open space.
