Our other recreation centers and outdoor pools are ready to welcome you while maintenance is underway at NBRC. Before your visit, please check the aquatics webpage for pool schedules and availability.

Extended pool allows for the following repairs:

• Detecting and repairing leaks beneath the lap pool deck
• Draining, acid washing, and replastering the lap pool
• Addition of a pool lift in lap and leisure pool
• Repairing the lap pool filter
• Replacing expired drain covers in the leisure pool
• Resealing and waxing the leisure pool and lap pool slides
• Inspecting, cleaning, and repairing water features and sprayers in the leisure pool
• Repairing and replacing broken tiles in the lap pool and hot tub
• Replacement of depth change tile line
• Installing a new heat exchanger for aquatic area amenities
• Replacing or repairing seating boards in the sauna and recertifying the sauna heating unit
• Rust removal and chrome polish in natatorium
• Repainting of handrails
• Deep cleaning the pool decks and deck drains

Boulder’s three recreation centers are aging. To renovate and keep them in good shape for the long-term for our community, they will need significant investment in the near future. We’re asking you and our community members to help us imagine the future of these buildings and our high-quality recreation system. We are working with our partners in the Facilities and Fleet Department as we start planning for the indoor spaces and the recreation center buildings themselves.
