Increasing research shows that plant-based diets offer many benefits that compliment health across the lifespan. But what exactly is plant-based? And how does one get started with this eating pattern? This talk addresses all these questions and more including meeting protein needs, micronutrients of concern, risks and benefits, and where to find tasty and easy recipes to get started.

Chakras are energy centers in your body that affect you physically, emotionally and spiritually.

This workshop includes learning:

  • Yoga poses
  • Visualization
  • Sounds
  • Body systems associated with each chakra
  • Colors and sounds that help balance each energy center

Youth athletes will work on mastering their body control and mechanics as related to movements such as jumping, landing, acceleration and changing direction.

Participants will learn how to move better and reduce injury in any sport they are competing in.

Age Groups: 10-12 year olds & 13-17 year olds

Session 1: June 6th-July 13th

Session 2: July 18th-August 17th
