Pickleball in Boulder
Boulder's Parks and Recreation Department is excited to foster this fast-growing sport as best we can while maintaining our facilities.
All our work is guided by the 2022 Parks and Recreation Master Plan, which provides guidance for how we handle new pickleball courts, court maintenance, and programming.

Court Updates
North Boulder Recreation Center
In September 2022, we resurfaced the court and painted new lines for 4 tennis courts, lines for tennis players 10 years old and younger, and lines for 8 pickleball courts.
Chautauqua Park
Repairs to the courts were completed in September 2022.
Foothills Community Park
After engaging with our community about the usage of the large, inline skate rink and potentially adding pickleball courts, the city has decided to add lines to the bigger rink for 4 pickleball courts. The lines were painted in September 2022.
When playing on these new courts, please bring your own pickleball nets as they will not be available on-site.
Our schedule for now: courts are available for reservation and use from 7 a.m. to noon, seven days a week. The rink would then be available for other sports from noon to close.
East Boulder Community Center
We're finalizing project plans for the construction of 4 dedicated pickleball courts.
