During Open Recreation the full gymnasium is available for playing sports, exercising, and socializing in an unstructured environment. Participants may practice shooting hoops, volleying, setting, spiking, or other non-disruptive sports motions.

The gymnasium may also be utilized for stretching, running, and other aerobic activities.


Equipment that may impede participant usage of the gym, such as volleyball, pickleball, or badminton nets are not allowed. Sports clubs, bats, sticks, and wheeled equipment (skateboards, roller blades, bicycles, etc.) are not permitted.

Participants must be aged 10+ to participate without a chaperone. Chaperones must be aged 16+.

  • Monday through Friday: 3:45 to 5:30 pm

Seniors (ages 60+)

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays: Noon to 2 pm

Adults (ages 16+)

  • Fridays: 11:45 am to 2 pm

Adult (ages 16+)

  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 6 to 8:45 pm (Tear down 8:45 to 9 pm)
  • Sundays: 9 am to 1 pm
