Select facilities to close or operate on modified schedules
Holiday Closures
In observance of the Presidents Day Holiday on Monday, Feb. 16, the City of Boulder is adjusting its operations schedules.
The following City of Boulder facilities and services will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 27, Thanksgiving Day:
- All city administrative offices
- All city recreation facilities
- All Age Well Centers
The following facilities and services will be closed to the public on Friday, Nov. 28:
- All Age Well Centers
- Planning and Development Services
- Justice Center and Judicial Court – staff will be operating remotely
Housing & Human Services hub and phones
The following facilities will be open on Friday, Nov. 28:
- East Boulder Community Center – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- North Boulder Recreation Center – 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- South Boulder Recreation Center – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Flatirons Golf Course – open normal seasonal hours.
- Boulder Reservoir – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the outgoing gate closing at 4 p.m.
On Thursday, Nov. 27, Thanksgiving Day, parking is free on city streets and in all city-owned lots and downtown parking garages. HOP bus service frequencies will be impacted through the week.
Open Space and Mountain Parks trails and trailheads will be open on Thursday, Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28. Visit OSMPTrails.org to plan your visit to city open space. City parks are open normal hours from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Alcohol consumption and fires/grills in a city park are prohibited without a permit, and dogs must be on a leash.
