Upcoming work will replace the wooden deck boards that visitors walk or ride across
Holiday Closures
In observance of the Juneteenth Holiday on June 19, the City of Boulder is adjusting its operations schedules.
Starting as early as Monday, March 31, the City of Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) Department will temporarily close the bridge over Community Ditch on the Doudy Draw Trail to conduct bridge improvements and maintenance work.
The bridge maintenance work is part of ongoing efforts to address trail and recreational infrastructure maintenance needs across the city’s 162-mile trail system – a key city open space priority. As part of upcoming work, OSMP will replace the wooden deck boards that visitors walk or ride across to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for years to come.
What to Expect:
Visitors are encouraged to check OSMPTrails.org and OSMP’s closure webpage for the latest information on trail closures across the city’s 162-mile trail system. The city also recommends using the city’s interactive trail map and the city’s trail and trailhead information webpage to plan visits and consider backup routes in case trail conditions change.
