The city supports organizations that honor the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and explore his work in the context of the Boulder community.
The City of Boulder’s Human Relations Commission is currently accepting proposals from local organizations that would like to host an event for the city’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration, to be held between Friday, Jan. 13, and Monday, Jan. 16, 2023.
Community groups and organizations are eligible for grants through the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Grant Fund with a maximum amount of $1,000 per event. In addition, the Office of Arts and Culture is offering up to $1,500 per event for programs with arts components, for a maximum award of $2,500 per event.
For consideration, proposals must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Nov. 4, 2022. Applications are available on the city’s website.
