Funding will provide access to community-building opportunities to all community members within the City of Boulder.

The City of Boulder’s Neighborhood Services is proud to announce the opening of Neighborhood Connection Fund for 2024. Grants are designed to increase opportunities for neighbors to get to know each other, provide community-building resources and enhance community resilience through joy and personal connections.

Applications are online and take about 30 minutes to complete. Depending on the amount requested, funding can be provided in 2-8 weeks and must be used within the calendar year. Funding will be awarded on a rolling basis and close September 30, 2024.

Applicants can apply for up to two grants per year.

  • Block Party: Funding up to $600 for party activities including, but not limited to, food, music, rentals, etc.
  • Spark: Funding up to $3,000 for community events, training, experiences, etc.
