Funding will provide access to community-building opportunities for all community members within the City of Boulder.
The City of Boulder’s Neighborhood Services is proud to announce the opening of the Neighborhood Connection Fund for 2025. Funds are designed to increase opportunities for neighbors to get to know each other, provide community-building resources and enhance community resilience through joy and personal connections.
Applications are online and take about 30 minutes to complete. Funds are available in prepaid grants or reimbursement. Applications are accepted and funds awarded in three evaluation rounds throughout the summer.
Neighborhood leaders, community members and neighborhood associations can apply for the following types of funding:
- Block Party: Funding up to $599 for party activities including, but not limited to, food, music, rentals, etc.
- Spark: Funding up to $3,000 for community events, training, experiences, etc.
- Manufactured Home Community: Funding up to $3,000 for a neighborhood project, larger event, training, etc., specifically for Manufactured Home Communities.
Boulder's Neighborhood Connection Fund has supported a variety of creative and inspiring projects around Boulder, including neighborhood clean-up days, building a free little library, hosting a potluck with yard games, and listening to a backyard concert. These gatherings build resilience, celebrate diversity and create strong community connections.
