Facility is expected to re-open on Monday, Sept. 18.

The closure of the East Age Well Center, located at 5660 Sioux Dr., has been extended through Friday, Sept. 15. to complete a roof repair. The Center is planning on reopening on Monday, Sept. 18.

The facility had a planned closure from Aug. 26 – Sept. 4 for annual maintenance. During that week, facility staff discovered an unanticipated problem with the roof that significantly changed the nature of the repairs. Inclement weather has extended the time it will take to finish the roof repair.

The East Age Well Center is located in the East Boulder Community Center (EBCC). The Parks and Recreation Department operated side of EBCC is open. Drop-in fitness classes are still happening but are temporarily being held in EBCC rooms until the Center reopens. Community members should check onsite signage or ask EBCC staff for the latest information.
