Join us at Folsom Field for this free event to experience Boulder's first night sky drone show in place of traditional fireworks. If Folsom Field’s 4th of July Spectacular is in any way impacted by weather, an update will be posted on http://boulder4thofjuly.com.

WK Real Estate, The University of Colorado (CU) and The City of Boulder are excited to announce a whole new experience for Boulder's 2023 4th of July celebration! Join us at Folsom Field for this free event to experience Boulder's first night sky drone show in place of traditional fireworks.

The show will take place on Tuesday, July 4. Gates open at 7:00 p.m. and the drone show will begin around 9:35 p.m. when it is dark. There will be live music by School of Rock, Funkiphino and The Custom Shop-Band. A variety of food and beverages will be available for purchase from food trucks and CU concession.

Prior to COVID-19, Ralphie’s Independence Day Blast was an annual event dating back to 1941. The shift from traditional fireworks to drones was not an easy decision and based on a number of factors, including increased fire danger fueled by climate change. While the show is going to be a bit different, it promises to be a fantastic show that aligns with our Sustainability, Equity and Resilience Framework.

Ride the HOP bus for free or take advantage of free public parking on CU’s campus. For more information about the family-friendly, safe celebration, transportation or stadium guidelines, visit to www.boulder4thofJuly.com.
