Here’s some need-to-know information for the week:
City launches new e-newsletter that focuses on wildfire resilience
On May 8, the city launched it's first e-newsletter focused on wildfire resilience within the city. The e-newsletter will be a quarterly approach to communicating with community members, employees, and other stake holders about what the city is doing to advance wildfire resilience, what community members can do to improve their wildfire resilience, and what steps should be taken by people wanting to be more prepared for large wildfire events.
This e-newsletter follows the publication of the city's Wildfire Ready webpage, which is dedicated to educating and empowering community members with wildfire resilience tips, opportunities, and information. Future editions of Anchor Point will highlight key aspects of a coordinated, strategic, and multi-disciplinary approach to addressing wildfire risk in the Boulder community.
Anyone is able to view our Wildfire Ready webpage and sign up for Anchor Point by visiting bouldercolorado.gov/WildfireReady.
For questions, please contact Jenn Ciplet at cipletj@bouldercolorado.gov or visit the city's Wildfire Ready webpage.
