The new bouldercolorado.gov website recently won an award from the National Association of Government Web Professionals for the best city or county website in the nation in the medium population group.
The Pinnacle Award for Excellence in Government Web Design recognizes the best government websites in city/county, state and federal governments. Entries are judged on content, organization, design, performance, flexibility, accessibility, standards and interactivity.
The City of Boulder launched its new website in July following extensive user research, testing and input.

I am also pleased to share that the Community Foundation of Boulder County has awarded the city a grant of just under $5000 to help support the ongoing work and evolution of the community connectors program, which is housed in the Communication and Engagement Department, in 2022.
Community Connectors elevate underrepresented voices and build trust between community members and city government. As community members, they partner with the city to co-design engagement opportunities, share resources and avenues to participate in city decision-making, and surface arising issues or community concerns. Community Connectors receive a stipend for their commitment, time and expertise.
