The City of Boulder’s Neighborhood Services is proud to announce the opening of Neighborhood Connection Grants for 2023. The grant program is designed to increase opportunities for neighbors to get to know each other in fun, relaxing and positive ways.

This year the neighborhood grant program will focus on healing and resilience after the many challenges our community has over the past few years. Five grants in total are available to choose from. Grants range from a couple hundred dollars up to $3000. Deadlines for applications are on a rolling basis and depend on the grant.

Those who should apply should be looking for opportunities for neighbors to meet and get to know each other. Enhancing community resilience, healing and joy through personal connections. The city’s goal is to provide access to community-building opportunities to all community members within the City of Boulder.

“This (grant-funded) event strengthened ties between neighbors and created new friendships. The diverse community also embraced the many cultures that exist within Ponderosa through generosity, understanding and bilingual activities.” - past Block Party grant recipient at Ponderosa manufactured home community
