Operation Water Festival

2024 marks the 29th anniversary of this much-loved annual event. Each year around 1,200 students from Boulder Valley School District are invited to participate in a day filled with educational and interactive water presentations. Students will discover how drinking water is treated, learn how to protect and conserve our water, experience the history, geology, geography and science of water and encounter the diverse plants and animals who rely on this precious resource to survive. Students will leave the festival empowered in their role as water stewards by connecting them to real-world issues and encouraging them to raise their voices.

Each participating classroom MUST fill out their own application. Applications covering multiple classrooms from the same school will NOT be accepted.
