Operation Water Festival is back for 2026! The event will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the University of Colorado Boulder University Memorial Center.
What is Operation Water Festival?
Boulder Valley School District fourth and fifth graders are invited to participate in a day filled with educational and interactive water presentations. At the all-day festival, students will discover how drinking water is treated, learn how to protect and conserve our water, experience the history, geology, geography and science of water and encounter the diverse plants and animals that rely on this precious resource to survive. Students will leave the festival knowing more about real-world issues and their role as water stewards.

Complete the 2026 Operation Water Festival Teacher Registration Form. Registration is open through Friday, February 6. All applicants will be notified of acceptance status in mid February.
