The bandshell is one of few examples of art-deco bandshells in Colorado, and is a historically designated resource stewarded by Parks and Recreation. Erected by the Lions Club in 1938, the site has served as a hub for cultural gatherings and community celebrations, including Arts in the Park.

Glen Huntington Band Shell Refurbishment

The bandshell is getting a fresh coat of paint and repairs to the stage floor. This work will start in early September and is anticipated to be complete in October.

The bandshell will be closed to the public during this work.
