All City of Boulder administrative facilities and libraries will be closed Monday, May 30 for the Memorial Day holiday. The following facilities and services will be open:

  • Lap lanes and the leisure pool area at Scott Carpenter Pool will be open from 1-6 p.m.

  • North Boulder Recreation Center will be open from 1:30-6 p.m. East Boulder Community Center and South Boulder Recreation Center will be closed.

  • Boulder Reservoir will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. The swim beach will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Exit gates will close at 9 p.m.

Parking is free on city streets and in all city-owned lots and downtown garages on Memorial Day. Paid parking is in effect at/near Chautauqua Park on the holiday. The free Park-to-Park shuttle will be running from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Park to Park and HOP bus impacts due to Bolder Boulder

Please note that between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Monday, May 30, the Park to Park shuttle service will be suspended at the Spruce/Broadway and 11th/Pearl stops for the Bolder Boulder race. Service will resume at these stops beginning at 1 p.m. The HOP will also not run before that time.
